UrbanChain welcomes cluster of new recruits

UrbanChain is based in Manchester Science Park

CleanTech company UrbanChain has recruited a host of new people as it aims to further solidify controls and excellence across all operations.

Chrisana Neves has joined as Payment Specialist and Donna-Marie Sirett as Senior Credit Controller.

Lauren Fiddy, Senior Account Manager, Nasra Omar and Shahzoonia Kazmi, Account Managers, are now part of the team as is Billing Analyst Eniola Aweh.

It comes as the UK’s leading provider of peer-to-peer energy exchange services, backed by global investment firm Eurazeo, embarks on a growth phase.

UrbanChain was recently granted a supply licence from Ofgem - representing a major milestone for the company’s future ambitions.

While the CleanTech company last month announced that it will engage in a Series B fundraising push towards the end of 2024.

Stephen Cornish, Managing Executive of Manchester Science Park-based UrbanChain, said: “The Board is delighted to welcome our latest talented recruits, covering crucial finance, billing and customer facing account positions.

“We will soon be announcing further hires across other operations as we look to strengthen controls and customer service excellence.”
